Kristin Beach (ERYT)

Every person carries a unique light within themselves, a brilliance that may often be dimmed by the various challenges life presents. However, this light is always ready to shine brightly again. Sometimes, we simply need to take moments to enjoy ourselves in order to awaken that inner radiance. For me, the act of movement revitalizes both my body and mind, while immersing myself in nature provides a deep sense of solace and renewal. Equally important, stillness also plays a role in restoring my spirit. What is your medicine for finding joy and achieving balance in your life?

Practices

  • Classic yoga includes various poses and breathing exercises that refresh the body and mind. This practice enhances muscle tone, flexibility, and focus, while also promoting deep relaxation.

Each class offers a unique experience with a mix of movements to keep it interesting. I aim to create new and enjoyable sequences that keep you surprised.

Modifications are available, and you can rest whenever needed.

All experience levels are welcome, creating an inclusive space. Take time to relax and connect with your breath and body during the session.

  • A slower practice with long holds that targets deep tissues, tendons, joints, and ligaments. It is calming and meditative. The poses focus on gently opening connective tissues without strain, helping to tone and cleanse the body's organs and systems. This practice complements more active sessions.

Props can assist in maintaining positions, making it suitable for all levels and abilities.

  • Restorative and Yin yoga are different. In Yin, you push your limits, but in restorative, you avoid strong sensations. This practice features gentle movements and long-held poses with the help of props. Poses are held for a long time to help the body relax and recover.

    All levels welcome.

Sound Healing

The practice of using different sounds to realign the body’s vibration along with the chakras system can significantly improve mental health and enhance emotional well-being. Throughout history, music and sound have been employed in numerous ways to facilitate healing and promote health. Sound healing may effectively reduce stress levels, lower blood pressure, decrease cholesterol, assist with pain management, and contribute to improved sleep quality. This ancient practice reminds us of the profound connection between sound and our physical and mental states.
