From a small town located in northern Manitoba, I began my journey into yoga when my oldest child was just a baby, which was around 17 years ago. Yoga became a vital way for me to connect deeply to the present moment; it served as a method for me to slow life down and find a sense of peace. As someone who struggles with anxiety, having yoga as a reliable tool to turn to whenever I felt overwhelmed, whether it was crying or panicking, was an incredible blessing that transformed my life. In those moments, I could focus on my breath and remind myself that everything in that moment would be okay. Through the practice of mindful breathing, fluid movement, and setting intentions, I found myself beginning to live yoga both on and off the mat. I quickly realized that this beautiful practice was something I wanted to share with everyone around me. I pursued and completed my 200-hour teacher training at Semperviva Yoga College in 2014. Since that time, I have furthered my education with Yin yoga training led by Bernie Clark, Yoga for Pain Relief with Leslee Watt, and additional training in Restorative yoga. I am committed to continuously expanding my practice each day, and for this incredible gift that yoga has provided me, I am profoundly grateful.

A little fact about me is that I played the flute for a total of 6 enriching years, and during that time, I developed a strong ear for music. The singing bowls came naturally to me, and I truly love how the frequencies they produce allow me to relax deeply and experience a state of bliss in that very moment. Offering this unique healing therapy not only brings me joy, but it also allows me to share another treasured aspect of my life and passion with you.

I am here to love and embrace others fully, I am here to release any preconceived opinions or judgments. There is no dividing line here, only a space filled with love and acceptance. When we approach everything in our lives from the heart, rooted in love, we can truly feel a river of energy moving through us, gently guiding and supporting us along our journey.

I am truly honoured for the incredible students I have met throughout the years, and I feel a continuous sense of personal growth as a student myself. Always eager and curious to learn and expand my practice, both on and off the mat, I embrace every opportunity for development. That is the essence of yoga—a lifelong practice. Nothing needs to be perfect, whether it's your life or your yoga practice. It is about allowing your journey to unfold naturally and taking you wherever it may lead you, in that moment. I cannot wait to share my space with you, as we embark on this journey together and continue to learn and grow side by side.
